Northern Chamber Orchestra

Since its establishment in 1967, the Northern Chamber Orchestra (NCO) has been a beacon of musical excellence. It hosts an annual series of eight concerts in Macclesfield, featuring top-tier soloists like Martin Roscoe and Chloë Hanslip in the upcoming 2023-24 season. Expanding its reach, the NCO ventures into Chester and Wirral, offering residents a series of four concerts in each location, enriching these communities through music.

The orchestra is dedicated to education, nurturing emerging talents, and pioneering contemporary compositions. The NCO extends its influence across the North of England, making it a symbol of musical dedication and community enrichment.
