Futurama Festival

The Futurama Festival is a new post punk and electronic festival for Liverpool and takes place across the Easter Bank Holiday weekend (3/4.04.21). Although, it’s a new festival it has an incredible history. The Futuramas were a series of groundbreaking alternative festivals between 1979 and 1983. In fact, they were probably the first indoor alternative music festivals anywhere and their legacy is still felt today. The line ups are like the greatest who’s who of British alternative music…it includes Joy Division, Echo and the Bunnymen, Siouxsie and the Banshees, Teardrop Explodes, Gang of Four, Soft Cell & The Fall.
